Pioneer Award Recipients Named By ACM

The ACM has announced a slew of awards to be given to some of the greatest ever classic country music stars. The Jim Reeves International Award will be presented posthumously to the great Buck Owens, as well as the Mae Boren Axton Award being given to the 28-year veteran of the ACM Board of Directors, Jack Lameier. The late-great Waylon Jennings and Harlan Howard will be awarded the Pioneer Awards, along with Dolly Parton and Don Williams.
These awards will be presented at the Tennesee State Museum on Wed June 20th. Marty Stuart will be hosting the cermony. It's great to see some of our favorite artists get the recognition they so rightfully deserve.
