Lorrie Loves Politicians

Lorrie Morgan's mate Sammy Kershaw, is throwing his hat into the political ring. Kershaw has been hinting for a long time about running for office in the state of Louisiana. It looks like Sammy is going to run for Lieutenant Governor in the fall. First will come the primary on Oct 20Th, and then the general election will take place on Nov 17Th. Kershaw wants to change every one's view of Louisiana. He said on WSIX radio here in Nashville that he is tired of Louisiana, "being the black eye of Louisiana". Sammy is looking to reform education and bring in more entertainment to Louisiana to boost up the economy.
This all sounds good, but how far can one trust a celebrity to bring about positive change. Reagan has been the only exception, but he still did not serve without controversy. One aspect of Kershaw's political agenda that I can get behind is that he hasn't been extremely vocal about it. Save your political views for when you get behind the podium. Your job is to entertain not to soapbox. But these are my opinions, what are yours, give me some feedback. Please, challenge me.
